On the occasion of the Holocaust
Memorial Day on 27th January, a group of contemporary artists have created alternative memorials
to commemorate the events of the Holocaust (Vanishing Points - Enyészpontok).
The works of the artists (Csönge Balla, Lőrinc Borsos,
Ferenc Gróf, David Karas, It wasn't us! Crew, Klára Rudas)
were exhibited in public spaces, but only for a short time. They can now be
viewed online (http://enyeszpontok.tumblr.com/). The
curator of the exhibition is Tamás Don and the
project was initiated by the Tom Lantos Institute.
The exhibition was launched on Monday, 1 February 2016.
